One Foot in Front of the Other
Walking with God

The Bible uses walking as a metaphor for life. But it's not just the physical act of walking, or even of living. Rather, it refers to our conduct before God. Over 200 verses in the Bible talk about this concept of walking with God. Walking with God is a walk with purpose, not aimlessly wandering around.

  1. Walk Carefully

  • In life, we need to know what's trivial and what is important. We all want to channel our limited resources of time and energy into what's lasting and valuable. This session deals with wisdom and knowledge, about making deliberate choices for the best.

  1. Walking Well

  • Integrity is a neglected value in our world. It has two faces, public and private. Who am I when no one else is around? Integrity begins with our relationship with Christ, with our dreams and values. It expands into words and actions that show our beliefs when we are faced with life's circumstances.

  1. Walking Together

  • John Donne wrote, "no man is an island." We all need social interaction. God created us this way. We have a personal relationship with God as our Lord and Savior. Then, through the power of the Holy Spirit living in us, we are called to live with other people and demonstrate the reality of His character. Friendship, Encouragement, and Hospitality are discussed.
